On the 30th of January CSA organized competitions for students of Panjab University.
38 students took part in the Elocution Contest that was held in collaboration with The Three Hundred, the Literary Society of the English Dept. Selected poetry and prose passages from English Literature were given to the participants who then presented them from the dais.
The first prize went to Gurleen Babra, the second to Vinny and the third to Shantanu.
In the Creative Writing Competitions there were 40 competitors who essayed short stories and poems in Hindi, English, and Punjabi. The results will soon be made public.
Prizes will be given on 10th Feb at 2.00 pm, at the English Aud, soon after the Literary Quiz.
